I grew up in the tiny town (pop. <2,000) of West Branch, Iowa. Boyhood home of Herbert Hoover. In many ways like Morehead: small, rural, 60 miles on the highway (see below) either direction to a good-sized city. But no “mountains”. And I didn’t grow up on a farm, so no questions about pigs or corn. I am the offspring of a teacher and an archivist. (Look it up. I had to when I was young.)

At the top of my list:

·	Battlestar:Galactica. Sorry, Star Trek, but the new BG episodes are awesome!

·	Doctor Who: Longest running sci-fi TV show in history, that’s all.

Star Trek in any, and often all, of its incarnations...even Enterprise, which was CANCELLED! If you love Star Trek and/or love making fun of it, check out: the Five Minute Voyager site, which brutally condenses and lovingly parodies episodes from all of the ST shows, and many other sci-fi and popular TV shows. ·	Gardening, which I’ve newly taken up after realizing my new home had no landscaping.
