Lab sections do meet this week (August 18-21). You can buy your lab manual from
the Student Affiliates of the ACS in room 427. Sale hours are posted (about 12
- 3:15p.m. each day the first week of classes). Have your manual BEFORE coming
to lab. You will need an apron and goggles as well. Goggles may be purchased at
the MSU Bookstore or elsewhere. Have a notebook as well. Some used goggles are
available but are first come, first serve.
You will also need your book and Chemskill Builder (CSB) disk ASAP. The first
CSB assignment is due Tuesday - August 26th.

There are copies of the CRC Handbook, Merck Index, Lange's Handbook and MSDS Sheets
in the "Balance Room" 426 Lappin. These are also at the library should you need
them outside of normal building hours. There is a computer lab in Lappin 442 and
is the only one with PSI-Plot. If you use this lab, please scan your disk for
viruses and sign-in in the log book.
